Shyam Malekar

Shyam Malekar is an eminent Business Head of Ultra Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd Marathi, which is a film content distribution company that provides end-to-end solutions for the film and television industry globally. He is from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He graduated in History from Wilson College, Chowpatty, Mumbai. He has worked as a Dubbing Director in UTV from 1996 to 1998 and as a Creative Director in Saibaba Telefilms Pvt Ltd from 2007 to 2008. He also worked as an Independent Director in a Serial from 1998 to 2007.

He has experience working in top management with leading networks for over 15 years and a sound knowledge with a strong understanding of TV channels as business dynamics with different verticals like Revenue, Programming, Distribution, Marketing, Syndication, Acquisition, etc. He has worked as a Head Programming in ETV Marathi from 2008 to 2010 and  Zee Talkies from 2010 to 2014.

He has strong leadership qualities and team building, which drive him towards the set objectives. He possesses strong data analysis skills and interpretation of different markets. He has worked as a Chief Operating Officer in Devisha Films from 2014 to 2015 and as a Business Head in Fakt Marathi from 2016 to 2022. He has also worked as a Head of B4U Marathi Motion Pictures Ltd from 2022 to 2023.
