Santosh Phutane

Santosh Phutane is an India Art Director born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his schooling at S.H Jondhale High School, Dombivli, Maharashtra. He holds a foundation diploma from Model Art Education, Mumbai. Later, he graduated with Fine Arts from Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art, Mumbai. He exclusively works in the Marathi film industry. In the beginning, he owned a signboard and screen painting business in Dombivli. During his college days, he used to freelance at various art studios. 

Santosh contributed his art to many small shows in his early career, one of them being the Marathi television serial Chhatrapati Shivaji Click to look into! >> Read More... . Later, he got a job as a visualizer and worked in that post for one year. Then he worked as an assistant artist on multiple weekly shows, including International projects. After this film, he started receiving a line of projects.   Santosh has worked in over 120 Marathi films. Some of his works are Balak Palak, Ubuntu, Pushpak Vimaan, and Timepass 2. He is also a two times state award winner.
