Shashank Ketkar is a Marathi Television actor born on September 15, 1985. He is known for his role as Shree in the Marathi Television serial ‘Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi’. He did Masters of Engineering Management from Sydney, Australia. While he was in Sydney, he participated in Marathi plays and musical programs organized by cultural groups. After completing his education, he came back to India to pursue performing arts. He joined Sudarshan Rangamanch and did his first role in ‘Purnavira’, directed by Pramod Kale and written by Sachin. He first appeared as Kalidas on Marathi TV daily show ‘Kalay Tanmay Namaha’. Then he did a negative character in ‘Swapnachya Palikadde’ on Star Pravah.  In 2013, he did the lead role as Shree in the serial ,Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi’, which brought him fame.

He was ranked 15th in The Times of India’s Top 20 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2017 and was ranked 12th for the same in 2018. He was ranked 24th in The Times of India’s 30 Most Desirable Men in 2019 and 19th in The Times of India’s Top 20 Most Desirable Men in 2020. In 2018, he was ranked 7th in The Times of India’s Top 15 Most Desirable Men on Marathi Television and ranked 8th in 2020.

He won the Best Actor and Best Couple (along with his co-star who did the role of Janvi) Awards in the Zee Marathi Awards, 2013.
