Samarth Patil is a child actor from the Kolhapur village of Sarvade in Maharashtra. Jyotiba is his Kuldevata (family deity). He is convinced that he received this role because of the deity Jyotiba's blessing. He was overjoyed when he learned that the serial would be shot in his hometown of Kolhapur.
As a young actor, Samarth claims that the directors, writers, and fellow actors provide him with proper and much-needed guidance on set. Because of this role, he has learned to ride horses, which he thoroughly enjoys. Samarth appears while telling the story of young Lord Jyotiba.
