in the 2018 Marathi drama film Dry Day, directed by Pandurang Jadhav. He was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and attended Children's Academy in Mumbai (Bombay) and Mithibai College for his education and graduation. Rutwik Kendre is director Vaman Kendre's son. He began his career on television's small screen. He's taken a lot from that experience and put in even more effort for his feature film debut.
Rutwik is also renowned for his portrayal as Vihaan in Manasicha Chitrakar To. He played the lead in this series along with Akhsya Gurav. With this show, he rose to prominence and subsequently moved into the film industry to gain additional exposure; he is now a well-known figure in the Marathi entertainment industry. Rutwik has also performed in plays in Hindi and Gujarati.
