Rakesh Date is a Marathi TV and theatre actor. On the occasion of the theatre festival (November 2022), Rakesh Date participated in acting and doing stage plays. He had two presentations on the stage, and those presentations were called 'Sutra Te Mangalsutra' and 'Mantharmaya.' both of these were Divya Marathi Special Presentations. The festival presentation was held in Nashik, and the two plays written by Hemant Vaya and directed by Praveen Kalokhe were presented very strongly to the audiences.
Rakesh Date was one of those Marathi actors who participated in these two presentations. He worked for the plays along with other artists like Kunal Waikar, Priyanka Pawar and Rashmi Kalokhe. Back in 2017, Rakesh Date worked enthusiastically for the famous TV series Assa Sasar Surekh Baai. He is also one of the recurring characters in the famous Marathi TV series
