Sharmila Nair

Sharmila Nair is a talented and well-known creative producer cum singer working predominantly in the Malayalam industry. Sharmila was born and brought up in Ernakulam, India. For her education, she went to Naval Public School, Cochin. After that, she studied at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. For his Post-Graduation degree, she went to Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science. Sharmila is a talented person who has a lot of experience. For instance, she is a creative producer at DocArt Productions which focuses on movies, conceptual ad films, TV/theatre commercials and corporate films.

She is also the Director at 2idiots and the owner of Red Lotus which is an exclusive clothing store that specializes in unique collection of sarees. Sharmila has done an iconic fashion campaign called ‘Mazhavillu Collection’ which features two transgender models, for the first time in Kerala. This campaign gained popularity worldwide as it was covered by news channels like BBC and Al Jazeera. Sharmila produced a commercial called Karalkada, which won the Best Ad Film of the Year award in 2018 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival held at Nation Archives of India in Pune. She also produced a feature film called Pixella which went to many national and international film festivals.
