Park Ji Eun, the South Korean Screenplay Writer, was born in 1976. She did her Bachelor’s degree in Korean Language and Literature at Chonnam National University and did her Master's degree in Film Arts at Sejong University Graduate School. She started her career in 1997 by writing for radio shows and serials. After spending a decade with these shows, she got a huge break in 2007. Park Ji Eun penned the screenplay for Love Isn’t Stop, a TV movie that aired on KBS N. After this, she wrote her first miniseries, Get Karl, Oh Soo Jung, in association with Park Hye Ryun. The series based on the real-life story featured Uhm Jung-Hwa and Oh Ji-ho. Following the success of the miniseries, she made her debut as a solo writer in 2009 for the drama Queen of Housewives / My Wife Is A Superwoman. The drama spoke about the traditional South Korean homemakers. The super hit drama had another specialty, and it is the comeback of Kim Nam Joo. Queen of Housewives was on the top with a high TRP and created a record. This series earned her an award at the MBC Drama Awards. Next year, she penned the screenplay for the series Queen of Reversals, featuring Kim Nam Joo. Queen of Housewives was about the traditional homemakers, and Queen of Reversals spoke about the working women. Although it didn’t excel the TRP of Queen of Housewives, it managed to do well.
In 2012, Park joined Kim again for My Husband Got A Family / You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly and Unexpected You. This time, the series got unexpected views and topped the chart. It ranked first place with 52.3% TRP in 2012. Kim Nam Joo and Park Ji Eun’s combination satisfied the audience with a good script and performance. This series grabbed her many awards, including the K-Drama Star Awards, Korea Drama Awards, and the KBS Drama Awards. In 2013, she penned My Love From The Star / You Who Came from the Stars. Jun Ji-Hyun and Kim Soo-Hyun played the lead roles. This series was aired in China in 2014 and had been viewed 14.5 + billion times. It is to be noted that the accessories and costumes used by Jun Ji Hyun turned popular and were sold out in no time.
 In 2015, she scripted, The Producers. Seo Soo-Min joined Park in this series. Kim Soo Hyun featured in The Producers, which aired on Fridays and Saturdays. In 2016, she penned Legend Of The Blue Sea, and in 2019, she wrote Crash Landing On You. Besides the TV movies and series, she had penned for a lot of shows, including I Want to Meet You, Story Land Surprise, Love Story, Weird Theater – The Story of Two Men, Comedy House, Touch Preview Comedy File, and The Clinic for Married Couples: Love and War. Some of her radio programs on MBC Radio are 2 o'clock Date with Yoon Jong-shin, Good Morning FM with Kim Sung-Joo, and Golden Disk Music Essay with Kim Ki-Duk.
