Bilal Siddiqui is a well-known novelist and screenwriter born and raised in Mumbai. He wrote his debut book ‘The Bard of Blood’ in 2015 at 19. The book is a generic spy thriller about four Indian soldiers imprisoned in Pakistan. During his college days, he suddenly grew interest in writing novels and fantasies. Later, he met the Chief Editor of Penguin Books with the help of Hussain Zaidi. The Chief Editor was impressed by the manuscripts of the book and decided to publish it.
