Kai Po Che and Aashiqui 2 in Hindi movie field. Mahesh is one of the VFX editors in Bollywood and took care of visual effects for the above movies. He is a veteran in VFX field and has been working for fourteen years in the same area. Mahesh Baria’s only motto is to learn new things every day and evolve accordingly. Talking about his background, he is born in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Mahesh Baria is from a technical field. He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 1992. And completed a Diploma in Software Engineering from NIIT and from Cyberdrome, Mahesh trained in Compositing Software FLINT. He completed his schooling from St. Dominic Savio High School in 1987. Mahesh Baria worked for Softwares like Inferno, Fire, and Flame. From 2001 to 2002 he worked as a multimedia artist at Inferno. He never thought he would be a VFX supervisor. Mahesh Baria showed interest to learn new technology, and he started to read books about new inventions and from people around him. He landed in the job Sahara Television after learning about computer graphics (CG) and later worked for Star TV. His role in Star TV was in productions and packaging department. In 2002, Mahesh Baria joined as Composing Artist for Prime Focus.
Till the date, his work at Prime Focus start-up team located at Mumbai is to break down the script and find scope for VFX. In the later steps, the team does the designing and necessary 3D representations for the picture. While shooting films, Mahesh Baria takes care of documenting and overseeing VFX shoot and taking care that no minute details are missed. Beginning as an assistant to take care of DI work, he ended up as a VFX supervisor. Till the date, Mahesh Baria worked for around eighty-eight pictures. Movies like Gaayab,
Patiala House, Housefull Series and
Love Story 2050 proved his VFX talent. His debut project was Gaayab and at that time technology was not much advanced. To bring what director wants is through Computer Graphics. For the picture,
