Vimmy Bhatt is a model first and a TV actress later. She had countable assignments for serials for Indian TV channels like Colors and Sony. She appears mainly for Hindi and Gujarati tele-serials. She had an inclination towards glamour world since her childhood. She was drawn towards both fashion and acting. As an actor, she wanted to be a part of some emotional drama that she could also enjoy watching. She did not want to be part of something that drags. She does not enjoy the saas-bahu dramas. That is why she opted out of a saas-bahu serial recently and went to act in a Gujarati serial.

She is currently looking for differentiated character on Indian television. She is enjoying playing a variety of roles as it helps her to reinvent the character and be different from other actresses. Her motive is to be in TV shows that are high on content, rather than being high on TRPs. She wants to be part of shows that will be remembered for high-content and not just TRPs. She is currently part of a lead character of the TV show, ‘Tari Aankh No Afini’ on ETV Gujarati. She was noticed even in Hindi TV serials like’ Prithviraj Chouhan’ and made appearances in ‘Savdhaan India, India Fights Back’. As a modeler, she appeared in both print and television advertisements.

She acted in a brief cameo role for a Hindi film, ‘Family-Ties of Blood’, which had in the main cast. It seems she is more comfortable in Gujarati serial production set-ups and prefers doing many more serials in Gujarati. Recently she had cast her beautiful spell on the audience with her comic timing in a Gujarati serial ‘Aa Family Comedy Chhe’. After winning viewer’s heart in Hindi serial ‘Prithviraj Chouhan’, will she be back for any other Hindi TV shows? Apparently, she also appeared in a Hindi Short film in 2013 which fetched her an award.
