She can be called as a 360* artist of Indian TV industry. She comes from a middle-class Brahmin family, and her parents were very supportive right from her childhood. She was encouraged by them to learn music, and she holds the degree of Sangit Vishard. Apart from acting, she is also a very talented singer, and her voice has a wide range of emotions.

When not shooting she loves spending time with her parents. According to her, they played an important part in shaping up her career and she owed her success to them.
