Tanushree Kaushal

Tanushree Kaushal is one of the prominent, popular and talented actresses to adorn the Hindi television industry. In a span of almost 10 years of her acting career, Tanushree has done various types of role mainly characters with negative shades and has proved her mettle in acting. Hailing from a Punjabi family with Army background, in her early days, Tanushree acted in many theatres including Hindi and in many other regional languages mainly in Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi. Tanushree Kaushal started with her acting career in Hindi television channels with few character and side roles in various tele serials and featuring in some TV commercials which largely went unnoticed. Her major acting breakthrough came when Tanushree bagged the role of Menka Garodia in Zee TV and Creative eye production’s ambitious and big project, the TV serial Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann. In this serial, Tanushree Kaushal played the role of a second wife to a rich businessman who married her in order to have a son. In due course, she gave birth to a son and neglected her husband’s first wife and other 4 daughters. This character had a lots of negative shades and was very much appreciated by the audiences and it won Tanushree a lot of awards and accolades. The serial ran for more than 3 years and it made Tanushree a popular face. Next she was seen participating in the reality show along with her fiancé Nach Baliye.
