Sukanya Kulkarni is an Indian actress of 46. She was born on 23rd Dec, 1968, in Mumbai. She has got early education from Balmohan Vidyamandir in Dader. Then she has joined Ruparel College for her education. Her character in ‘’ brought real fame and popularity to her.

She has worked in Hindi TV serials and some Marathi films. She has started her carrier as actress from the Marathi theater. She has essayed the main role in the popular movie ‘Varsa Laxmicha.’ The story was based on independence movement. She has essayed the role of Laxmi who was the wife of a feudal lord. But she left her errant husband and joined the freedom movement. She has performed a supporting role in a super hit film ‘Sarkarnama’. ‘Sarkarnama’ was based on Indian politics. Other than this she has performed the role of sister in law of in the super hit Hindi movie ‘Sarfarosh.’
