Shivani Thakur is an Indian actress. The 27 years old actress from Himachal Pradesh has done two shows on Indian Television.

She was playing the role of , Sister of , the lead character played by , in the Zee TV Show Saath Saath Banayenge Ek Aashiyaan. The Show was aired in 2008 and was about 2 grandsons of a Punjabi family (Singhs) from Delhi. Both of them were married to girls who are culturally and geographically very different from each other.

The actress has also participated in a Star Plus couple reality show with then boyfriend . Kapil has been a part of many episodic in CID (Sony). The duo participated in this show, which could help them win the marriage of their dreams.

Shivani wanted to be a doctor but started acting. She met Kapil, who is also from Himachal Pradesh in their city during an audition for a film. While Shivani was standing in the line or rehearsing her lines she realized that some one was staring at her. It was Kapil. The moment he set his eyes on her he knew she was the girl he wanted to spend his life with - it was love at first sight. The Duo had an impressive story however could not make to the finals of the show.
