Born and brought up in Mumbai, Parab is known for "WhatsApp Love", and short films "Pie In The Sky," "Photographs and Memories", and "Wake Up".

"Photographs and Memories" is a short produced under the banner of Tougheggs Studios. The 2018 drama features Vishal Chavan, Shivali Parab, and Dishant Vadnere and focuses on how a boy loses his love. Parab plays the role of mother in the silent film. Shivali featured in another short called "Wake Up" in 2018, where she plays Girl 1. The short was a satire on increasing pollution and how Mother Earth reacts to litter. "Pie In The Sky" was a short film released in 2019. It featured Parab as Ananya and touched on women’s issues. The short won awards at both National and International levels.

Parab played the role of Guddi. The show focused on the character Sargam who insists on hiring domestic help to lighten the burden of household chores. After her father-in-law Chedilal Awasthi agrees to her demand, Guddi, played by Shivali, is employed. However, Sargam finds it odd that Guddi agrees to help at a meager wage.
