Content: She is born on 9 December in Amritsar, Punjab. Sharanpreet Kaur Matharoo loves music and is conscious of her fitness.
She made her debut in the TV serial Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi where she played the character of Guru-maa. Her negative character was one of the most appreciated characters in the serial. She got selected as the main antagonist after a lot of audition rounds.
She has done many small advertisements in the Punjabi language, as well as in the Hindi language. Her appearances in the famous show CID are much appreciated. She has been a part of the Pollywood industry also and has done movies like Lagada Ishq Ho Gya, Kabaddi Once Again, and in the famous film Love You Soniye, released on 24th October 2013.
She is much appreciated by the critics for her role as Guru-Maa. In 2018, she registered her candidature for the Indian Film and Television Director's Association elections.
She has also been an official jury of many shows including Mr and Miss Punjab and Mr, Mrs. and Miss Fabb. She currently lives in Mumbai and is doing her show Rajaa Betaa where she plays the character of Gomti.
