Sapna Sikarwar debuted with Bhaago KK Aaya and worked on shows like Main Kab Saas Banoongi. She has often been reported saying that she felt a homely environment on the sets whenever she worked with SAB TV Productions. She also added that people working with the production house are so cooperative and helpful that she never felt she is not a part of them.

The majority of the roles Sapna Sikarwar played in her career always had a comic touch in them. On being asked about her selection of roles and if she is comfortable in playing the main character in telly shows and willing to make a name for herself in the in the industry, she replied that she had no qualms in portraying the character, but she hates the idea of wearing the same attire every day and doing the same role every day. Sapna believes that such characters bring monotony for an actor, and she does not want that to happen to her in her acting career, rather she wants to enjoy her work thoroughly.

Sapna loves playing comic roles, but her dream role is to play the role of a ghost in near future. She had always loved watching horror movies, specifically the ones made in Bollywood. She wishes to play the role of a ghost one or the other day so that she can fulfill her fantasy of acting in a horror television soap or movie.

 Other than doing acting, Sikarwar is also a excellent dancer. She is trained in various Indian classical dance forms from Sagar Academy. She had participated in various dance competitions and won many of them. She says that dance is her second love after acting, and wishes to showcase her dancing skills to the audience  through participating in a dance reality show eventually.
