Namrata Pathak is a prominent Indian actress, who was born on March 13. She is a popular personality in the Gujarati theatre and television shows. She initiated her career while she was still studying. Acting is not on her genes since she is the only one in her family who joins the acting industry. She spent her early childhood in New Delhi then later, she moved to Gujarat and studied performing arts at Maharaja Sayajirao, University of Baroda. Namrata likes to dance, read, sing, travel, write stories and she also has a passion in photography.

Namrata faced the camera for the first time when she was on 7th standard. She acted on a street play entitled, Bhavai and that’s when Doordarshan spotted her. She did a talk show that tackles social issues in year 2003 and in year 2004, she entered the theatre world. Acting has been her passion and her life since she was a child. 
She did a Gujarati serial entitled, Moti Baa. She also gained fame after performing as Shazia Fahad Abdullah in the drama series, Beintehaa on Colors TV. She played as Fahad’s second wife who worked as a Secretary. Her mother-in-law, Sumaiyah doesn’t like her since she came from a middle class family. Namrata stated that her character in this serial is totally different since her character plays a very aggressive and negative role.
 
Namrata dreams of having her own school for special people because she believes that they have special talents that need to be developed and come out in front of many people. She also dreams of having her own dance school since dancing has also been her passion ever since. According to her, she is a type of person, who is brutally honest, free spirited, considerate and kind. She never judge people as she believes that they has their own journey and story.
