Moon Banerjee

Moon Banerjee was born in a Bengali family, and her initial name was Mohua, but her uncle changed her name from Mohua to Moonmoon as he was very fond of actress Munmun Sen. She started her career as an advertisement actor and made her name in the circle when Moon appeared as a young mom in a Horlicks ad directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

Moon made a transition when she got her first break in Shobhana Desai’s Babul Ki Duaye Leti Ja, which appeared on Zee TV. Moon, took a maternity leave for nearly two years, but she recently made her comeback with Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, where she is portraying the character of the mother of the protagonist, the show is the biggest serial on Indian small screen.
