This doe-eyed beauty had big dreams about the dream factory. She had a lovely face and also a competent talent. But this didn’t do anything to make this lively actress to sustain onscreen. Mayuri did her schooling and college in Aurangabad. Mayuri’s mother was a renowned artiste in stage and this is how this doe-eyed beauty got the interest in acting. Many may not know that Naseem is the film in which Mayuri debuted. Everyone is of the opinion that Papa Kehte is her first endeavor in films. In Naseem, which was the original story of its director , she was not very glamorous. She shared screen space with in the film and it received the National Award for Best Screenplay in 1996. The performance of Mayuri in Naseem fetched the attention of , who cast her in his 1996 flick Papa Kehte Hai. The film didn’t set the cash registers ringing. But the songs of the film were a huge hit particularly Ghar Se Nikalte Hi and Pehle Pyar Ka Pehla Gum. The naivety of Mayuri was noticed in the film. Badal, Betaabi and Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet are some of the films in which this beauty acted.

Though Mayuri didn’t get many offers later she is still a notable face in the Hindi film industry. The 1997 music video Ram Ratan Dhan Payo featured Mayuri. Merey Apne, her 1999 flick, is not yet released. This talented actress didn’t have even one flick as a hit. Nevertheless, she garnered positive feedback from critics. Since her big screen projects went unnoticed Mayuri started to test waters in television. Here she was successful-, and Karishma-The Miracles of Destiny are the serials in which she worked. Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat is a television show in which she worked and it was telecasted on Sony TV in 2002. Nargis Is her another endeavor in serials which was aired in Doordarshan. It was during the year 2003 that Mayuri wedded Aditya Dhillion, an NRI, in Aurangabad. After shifting to Network with her spouse, she graduated in MBA-Marketing and Finance. Currently she is posted as a Digital Conversion Officer’s Chief Analog in a company in Gurgaon.
