Gargi Sharma is a bubbly actress who has worked in a few Hindi television series. She started acting as a child artist in the popular television series Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki in which she played the role of . She got this opportunity after reaching the finals of the competitive show Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj Season 1 which was aired in 2004. Her next major acting stint was for . She played the role of young Meghna after plastic surgery. This television series was telecasted on Zee TV from 2002 to 2006. However, she became a popular household name after performing for the role of Mandira for the television serial . She played the role of younger sister of main lead Indira which was played by . Gargi’s role was of a bubbly spoilt bratty girl who remains playful and naughty.

In the series Hitler Didi, the Gargi played the role of Mandira which suffers the trauma of being a rape victim. According to her, this role let her learn a lot about the rape victims. During an interview she said that in general people underplays the trauma and after effects of rape just because they think it is something which happens only to other people. This lack of sympathy makes situations worse for the rape victim.
