Anjum Farooki is well-known actress in Hindi television. Born in the state of Maharashtra on August 17th, 1981, she made her debut on the silver screen with Zee TV’s soap opera Aapki Antara in 2010. She played the title character Antara, a beautiful young girl who searches ardently for her lost (actually deceased) father.
Although Anjum made her debut in 2010, she shot to fame with her role as Gauri Jagdish Singh in the famous Color’s show Balika Vadhu. Gauri is a grey character, the other woman in Jagdish’s life.
