Zulfi Syed is a super model turned actor from India. He was born on August 26, 1974 at Bengaluru, Karnataka, South India. Zulfi or Zulfikar Syed studied high school at The Bangalore High School Jayanagar 4th Block. He worked in several television shows and films; he also does some ramp modeling. He initiated his career in the Kannada film, O Mallige in 1997.

He was successful in modeling but not as an actor. But in 1996, when he joined the Gladrags Manhunt Contest and won the 4th runner up place, he gained his popularity. He was mostly distinguished after doing his ad where girls are putting lipstick marks on his body. Some of his popular ad campaigns include Fiesta Condoms, Warehouse, Levis, Raymonds and more. He also did some music videos such as Buleyaa, Tere Khayalon Mein, Chahat Desh Se Anewale, Dhuwa Dhuwa Ho Raha Hai Sama and a lot more.

He was debuted as a film actor in the Indian film, Pyaasa by in 2002. But unfortunately, the movie was a flop but he did his best to show his potential in acting. Later, he appeared as Varun in Chupke Se. He was also part of the Bollywood film, Billu in 2004. Then he played the role of Raj in the film, Wajahh: A Reason To Kill. In 2005, he was featured in the Bollywood romantic drama film, Dhadkan and later introduced as the Young Prince Khurram in the Bollywood historical film, Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story. In 2007, he did the films, O Meri Kangna and Mr. Hot Mr. Kool. In 2008, he was also in the film, Jimmy and Desh Drohi as Inspector Rohit Raghav.

Zulfi also joined as a contestant in the second season of the reality show, in 2008. He won the second runner-up place and in 2010, he also joined the Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega on NDTV Imagine.

He got married to Sheena Varma on January 14, 2012 in Mumbai’s Oris Hotel. Sheena is a professional Architect from Mumbai. They invited different personalities from Bollywood, fashion industry and also the cricketers on their wedding. Aside from acting, Zulfi is also running a restaurant business with a branch in Delhi. He also has a boutique for clothes in Oshiwara, Mumbai and recently, he filed a case against the Bigg Boss contestant, Raja Choudhary for barging into his boutique. According to the report, Raja was said to be drunk and took many of the clothes and accessories without paying.

Zulfi is a very shy person who loves travelling and adventure. He is also fond of cooking.
