Sonu Pathak

Sonu Pathak is an Indian actor known for his work in the Hindi film industry. He is most prominently known for his role in the television drama, ‘Pyar Ke Papad.’  He began his journey performing comedy routines and humorous sketches for regional TV channels. From acting, he graduated to working on local movie productions as an assistant director. He took up a series of different jobs hoping to get noticed by a prominent Bollywood studio. Sonu began working as an anchor for a news station for their entertainment bulletin. He also did some several projects on Big Magic.

His anchoring opened up more doors to him as it let him come in contact with notable media figures. He was called on reality shows and stage performances to do impressions and deliver one-liners, the most prominent of which was his appearance on the reality talent hunt, ‘Dance India Dance L’il Champs.’ It took about eight years of fighting uncertainty and empty pockets before he finally got into mainstream acting on prominent channels like ZEE TV and Sony TV. His life, with all its many twists, is a testament to the unyielding pursuit of his dreams.
