Sandeep Gaikwad after completing his undergraduate in Electronics Engineering B.Tech.(Electronics), reached Mumbai on a job opportunity, but it was his interest in Marathi drama, that brought him in contact with some Indian Television serial makers, and Sandeep shifted his focus from a technical mindset to acting and favored this calling as his profession. Fortunately, he discovered jobs in TV serials, which helped him to make due in this prominent city of fame, and showbiz, Mumbai.
