, and Rutuja Bhagwe were the main characters in this series. The story revolved around the couple Narayan and Vasudha, who had a sizable plot of land and depended on farming for their survival. Arjun Patil, who was wealthy, partnered with a business tycoon from Mumbai to establish a factory in a hamlet and sought to purchase the village land. Both Narayan and the locals asked them not to give their land. To oppose Narayan and his family, Patil used his methods to compel the peasants to sell their land. Later, Narayan got imprisoned after being accused of murder. Then Vasudha and her children escaped to Mumbai in quest of work after the locals attempted to harm them.
