Mujtaba Ali Khan is a renowned actor in South movies and Doordarshan’s television serials. He is delighted to get the opportunity in working with the Balaji Telefilms, a well-known production house in India. His very first project in the Balaji Telefilms is the drama series, Shrimati Swara Raje Deshmukh Sarvggun Sampanna on Imagine TV where he acted the male lead role as Aditya. After the serial took a leap, his character as Aditya was replaced. Prior to this, he was seen in the serial, Stree Teri Kahani on DD National along with Vani Sharma.

He started his acting venture at a very young age. He was hailed from South India and came from a Muslim family. He has done five films as the main lead, television commercials and serials. He was once engaged to actress after having their eight years relationship, but the two decided to part ways in the end. According to Itishree, she was never engaged to Ali and they part ways since things are not working well between them.

Besides acting, he is also a model. He had done various television commercials and modeling campaigns like Brook Bond Tea, Blue Dart Courier, Sero Shirts, Live-in Jeans, Ampro Glucose Biscuits and more. After his successful modeling career, he entered the television industry. In 2003, he did the Hindi serial, on ETV Network. He was also seen in and Safar. He also did episodic in television serials like on STAR One, Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television India, Arjun and more.

He also appeared in some Hindi and Telugu films. Ali was seen in 3 in 2013. In this film, Ali needs to make his body a bit bulky as it requires for the scenes. In 2005, Ali did the film, Hum Tumse Juda Hoke opposite with Itishree Singh under the direction of Ashok Tyagi.
