Debtosh Darjee

Born in a small town of Orissa, Radharani Para in Balangir, his journey to bollywood wasn’t that easy. He belongs to a very middle class family. His father, Nabakishore Darjee runs a small clay product shop. His mother on the other hand is a housewife. He always had a thing for acting and started doing drama on stage at the age of four.

His grandfather, Udayanath Darjee was a vocalist in Akashvani, Cuttack. His father was earlier an orchestra singer. So, he was surrounded by artists growing up. He first faced camera when he was in 8th standard in Pradeep Mohapatra’s telefilm ‘Ajhati’. This film was telecasted in Doordarshan Odia. During his struggling period in Mumbai, he also worked as an office boy and ticket checker.
