Srestha Banerjee

Srestha Banerjee is a Bollywood supporting actress, model, and teacher. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature from Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College in 2012 and her Master of Arts from Delhi University in English language and Literature in 2014. She has proficiency in English, Hindi, Bangla, and French. She started her teaching career at Mira Model School, Janakpuri in Delhi as an English teacher in 2015 and then joined Army Public school, Shankar Vihar, Delhi as an English language teacher in 2016. She went to Army Public school, Delhi Cantt as an English teacher in 2017. Her acting career began in 2017 with her first feature film that was FryDay, a comedy and drama movie released in 2018, starting with Govinda.

Her second Bollywood movie was The Big Bull which was a biography of Harshad Mehta starring Abishek Bachchan, directed by Kookie Gulati, and released in 2021. Srestha has worked in different short films too. Her first short film was a crime film titled Rotten Souls released in 2020. Next, she acted in a six minutes drama film Chalte Rahiye Janaab in 2020. She acted in a 25 minutes film titled Saving Chintu, released in 2020, and it was a drama film. In 2021 she worked in E-Rickshawali 2021, that was a 26 minutes drama short film. Currently, she is working in Pyara Gadda/Dear Mattress which is a drama short film. She has worked on three TV series.

The first one was released in 2019 on Netflix titled Delhi Crime in episode 4. It was a crime drama series. Then she worked in Delhi Weds Harayana which was a reality Tv released in 2021. In 2021 she also worked in a comedy-drama series titled Decoupled in the episode- The History of Marriage, released on Netflix.
