Sagar Deshmukh is an Indian Bollywood actor / writer. He has been an active participant in the theatre circuit since his college day; he is well known for experimental theatre. Deshmukh has been part of several movies like Hunterrr, YZ, and Bhai,  Vyakti Ki Valli. And has now even joined a TV show called Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He was a budding lawyer but gave it up to pursue acting.
In an interview, Deshmukh talks about his love for experimental theater and how he had formed a theater group along with his friends to break the traditional cycle of theater. He perceives theater as a laboratory, where he can experiment with, and hone, his skills. He performs as an actor so he can keep pushing his comfort zona and challenge himself so he can become a better artist.
Deshmukh got into films after the success of Hunterrr (2015), where he played the role of Dilip, and since has been a part of various big-screen projects. His filmography includes Medium Spicy (2020), State vs. Malti Mhaske (2018) as District Attorney, YZ (2016) as Gajana Kulkarni, and Priya Behrupiya (2015).Â
