Daljinder Basran is a Punjabi film actor and director, who made an appearance in Simranjit Singh Hundal’s Punjabi drama film, 25 Kille, in 2016. He was born on July 14 and studied at Ramgharhia Higher Secondary School in Phagwara and later attended Dyal Singh College in Karnal.

Daljinder also went to Punjab University in Chandigarh. He is married to Santosh Basran (actress) and had two children namely Surmeet Singh Basran and Sukhmani Basran. In 2014, Daljinder was cast in Sahaj Productions’ Saavi: A Bonded Bride. In the same year, he was seen in Anurag Singh’s period drama film, Punjab 1984. He also appeared in the action-courtroom drama film, Kaptaan in 2016.

Mann was 25 years old, when he started his career. Till now he has appeared in numerous advertisements and the TV sitcoms. He acted in TV ad for the product For You made by Natalia Productions, where he played the lead. Another ad, by the same production house, featured him in their product Fit O Fit’s advertisement. He also did an advertisement with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The ad was for Gulf Oil, where he plays an employee of a petrol pump and asks Dhoni, which oil is better for bikes. Mann also played a Bhojpuri character in a film by S2K Entertainment. He also appeared as himself in Atyaachar Ka Punchnama; a reality show featured on channel Bindass. In the show, the actor took a loyalty test on his then girlfriend Priya, who appeared to be cheating on him. He also played a customer during the ad shoot of N.M. Medical. The actor portrayed himself as a gym instructor, in GTM Speedofit sauna belt’s promotional video. In this video, he was teaching people the advantages of the product. He also did a Horlicks ad, where he played the character of a mundane husband. He also acted in Club Mahindra Holidays promotional video. A small part on Easy Slim Tea’s advertisement, is also played by him. Bagga appeared as a police inspector in a TV show Raavi. The show focuses on a girl Raavi who is growing up, disguised as a guy named Ravinder. Mann played the cop in the show, who has to catch a criminal named Ballu. He appeared in different episodes of the same show as the Inspector. Mann also got a chance to act in a Big Magic’s comedy sitcom, Naadaniyan. For that show, he plays several characters which are not connected. He played a man who is taking an auction, to sell a bungalow, and enunciates in rhyming sentences only. The show portrays the life of three stupid people. In the same show, he also played a mentally unstable kid, who makes the life of the three leads, miserable. He also appeared in an ad of Chevrolet Spark. The actor played the role of Dipankar in The Silent Heroes. The movie released in 2015, and it was the first tinsel town venture of Mann. The film didn’t get much appreciation. Book My Show reviewed the film and said that Mann Bagga played the noteworthy and compassionate teacher, whose aim was to help his students to reach their goals. The film attempted to show the capability of 13 deaf kids who are climbing The Himalayas.
