Samvida Nanda

Samvida Nanda is a well-known Hindi story writer. Samvida completed her schooling from the Vasant Valley School, pursued Filmmaking Summer Workshop Course from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and did Diploma in Digital Video Production from the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology. She has stupendous work experience in theatre and film projection, art, creative and marketing department, film and digital installations, graphic design, festivals and gigs, and multimedia designing.  Samvida debuted as an assistant in the camera and electrical department in Anaavaranam. Her notable project as a writer and photographer includes 2B or Not 2B in 2011. She was the writer, additional photographer, and cinematographer in The Frames, a short film released in 2013.

Samvida has awards galore for her brilliant artwork. She was screened at the Bangalore Shorts Film Festival in 2012, selected for Miniboxoffice International Film Festival in 2012, screened at the First Cut Festival in 2012, screened at BYOFF in 2012, selected for the Tacoma Film Festival in 2012, was awarded for the Indie Fest in 2012, was screened at the Florence Indian Film Festival in 2012, won a short film contest in 2012, competed at the 10^th Indian Film Festival Stuttgart in 2013, and was presented at the 66^th Cannes Film Festival in 2013. A few of her digital photos and videos gained recognition on national and international platforms like Times Square in 2012, Spring Festival, and Louvre Museum.
