R. Nitish Kumar

Nitish R Kumar is an Indian sound engineer born in 1985 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He studied commerce at St Georges school New Delhi and graduated as an Audio Engineer. He was an energetic student at school and used to participate in extracurricular activities, predominantly in the choir group. He followed his passion for music and mastered his field by working under the legendary AR Rahman Indian film composer. He works as a sound engineer at every AR Rahman concerts happening around the world. He mixed his new remake Urvashi-Urvashi song in the MTV unplugged season 6 show. He Had recorded and mixed the 2016 produced song “Yaara” ,and is thankful to ARR for his support. In just a short span of his career, he won the Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA) in the Best Sound Engineer for the movie Highway, and was nominated for the 57 Royal stag Mirchi music award.

And also won the Radio Mirchi Music Award for Best Song Engineering 2013 for the song “Challa” in the movie “Jab Tak Hai Jan." He is one such precious element in the eminent music Industry that produces melodious tunes and songs and has been contributing to it prolifically. He has been part of supernova movies like Rockstar, Ranjhna, Mere Dad ki Maruti, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Chillar Party, and Beyond The Clouds. Recently “Bawaal” the debut music video song of India's 1st Boy Band MJ5 had been produced, conceptualized, directed, and produced by him, and he is also very close to the MJ5.
