Gissy Michael is a sound designer and recordist from Mumbai with over 20 years of work experience in the film industry. She started her career in the late '80s, although her debut project is unknown. One of her Earlier projects was in 2001- a Documentary called Jari Mari: Of Cloth and Other Stories, followed by Bombay Blush, a TV Documentary series in the same year.

Gissy currently practices her work at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, & Technology, Bengaluru. She has completed her Bachelor’s in Physics and Post-Graduation at Film and Television Institute India (FTII), Pune. She specializes as a sound recordist and designer. Her area of interest includes film and writing.
