. He gets inspiration from many genres and with Sufi, Alt Rock and Urdu Pop influence his music. In college, he formed a band called ‘Rags’ which gave him his first authentic taste in music. Working in the band helped him gain experience and grow as a musician, which ultimately inspired him to pursue a solo career. Regardless of his father’s expectation that he would become an officer like his brother, he persuaded his passion for his music. Khan released his first album, Talash, in 2012 under Virtual Recordz. He received high praise for the album as he experimented various genres, from Alternative Rock to Sufi. He also released a single called ‘Khuda Tere Bande’ in collaboration with UK rapper V-double-E. The single has a combination of Sufi lyrics and urban rap. His single in 2013 was in partnership with various artists like AG Dolla, US producer DJ Kurioo and V-double-E. Apart from releasing albums and singles, he has also worked in gigs with Atif Aslam, done live shows, and also conducted shows at Hard rock Café, Pune. He started doing live shows from his graduation days.
