Shibani Sur is a talented singer and songwriter. She is the third generation of her musician’s family and the granddaughter of Balrampur Riyasat. She started training from her father Pt. Mata Ram Sharma. She has also learned from her Bua ji, Bageshwari Devi ji. Later she got training under Padma Talwalkar and Sudha Divekar.
She is a skilled instrumentalist. She also plays and teaches a variety of instruments like Harmonium, Tanpura, Swar Mandal, Persian Setar, and Keyboard. She is also a film composer and her short movies were nominated for the Filmfare award 2018. Her music got the recognition globally having international collaboration with Russia and Dubai.
