Mugdha Hasabnis is a very talented and well-established Marathi and Hindi singer. She has trained in Hindustani Classical Music till the Upantya Visharad level. She also sang in a Marathi film and has done a few devotional albums as well. She then joined A R Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai. She studied Western Music. She was a voice major student. Mugdha’s teacher at the school was Kavita Baliga. She became a part of KMMC’S Chamber Choir. As a part of this group, she became one of the singers at the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Doordarshan in Delhi. In the year 2009-10, KMMC selected her as the best voice western. She completed her foundation course from KMMC. She also learned to play the harp during her time at school. She tried and got selected for SA RE GA MA PA show on zee Marathi in 2010. With her fabulous singing, she managed to make it to the top 14 list but didn’t win the trophy. The show got her much work ahead. The show got her to perform some concerts in the US. She then did her 8th grade as a voice major in western classical music from Trinity School in London. Kannada Music Awards in 2013 awarded her with The Best Singer Female –Non-film.

She also collaborated with Mayur Narverkar to create a fusion of EDM and Hindustani music. Mugdha is one of the faculty members at the True School of Music. She is teaching Hindustani Playback music to the students. Her latest songs include Tu Mil Gaya and Daastaan.
