Emon Chatterjee is an Indian singer who becomes popular after joining and winning the second runner-up place in the third season of the reality show, Indian Idol in year 2007. He is from Kolkata who dreams of becoming big in the music industry. His name was derived from the famous Raga of the Indian Classical Music called Yaman. It was given by his parents, Sri Mainak and Smt Sutapa Chatterjee, which just shows that he came from a family with so much passion for music.Â

Emon started learning music when he was just seven years old from his aunt and father, and later get trained by many reputable vocal trainers. He touches the hearts of many people with his tunes and his mimics that will surely make everyone laugh.
