Arvind Marchande was a production coordinator. He has worked in many Marathi films. He has also worked as a Casting and Project head in Neela telefilms. When working in Neela telefilms, he has worked for many serials. One of the shows that he worked on was SAB TV's most popular show ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah’. He was the head production controller for this popular TV show. The tragic incident occurred on 30 June 2016 when he passed away while working on the set of the show ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah’. On a typical working day, he was working, and he suddenly complained of chest pain.
Soon after, he was given some gastric medication thinking that it could be an indigestion problem. Later that day, his condition worsened, and he collapsed on the sets. He was rushed immediately to a nearby suburban hospital, where he took his last breath. The shooting for the show was called off for a few days. The producer of the show Asit Modi, the actors, actresses, and various other people associated with the show paid a visit to the hospital to offer their condolences on his demise.
