Mukund Purohit

Mukund Purohit was born on April 6, 1971. He is 46 years old. He is an Entrepreneur and a Film Producer. He used to do different kinds of jobs before setting up a permanent business. “Neapolitan Pizza Limited” was started up by him in Canada and due to his hard work and dedication, it became very successful, and now he is the Managing Director and Chairman of the same. He majorly works in association with Government of India with the goal of establishing good relations between India and Canada. With his help only, India and Canada have developed a bilateral relationship among themselves. In January 2009, the business delegation from Canada visited India for the very first time and attended an investor’s summit named “Vibrant Gujrat.” The whole delegation consisted of 32 team members (Businessmen) from Ontario, the most prominent being Senator Consiglio Di Nini and “M.P.” Patrick Brown. He also works as a director and managing in various Canada-based firms like “Vcare Project Management Consultant Inc.” and in India, he is the director Panorama India which was established as a non-profit (Umbrella) organization to unite all the Indo-Canadian organizations, Groups, and associations dealing to promote Indio-Canadian culture.

He has a lot of interest in politics and has served as a consultant to various Government Organizations of many different countries. From the year 2011 to 2014, he had been an advisory consultant of Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Economy. For the year 2014, he was appointed as an advisory consultant of Government of New Brunswick. He has also served as president of Gujarati Business Association present in Canada from the year 2003 to 2007, and at the same time, he was the chair-person of the Advisory Board of India-Canada Trade Association. In the year 2016, the President of India awarded him with the highest honor “Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Award.” In the year 2012, his contributions were recognized by Canadian Government as “Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.” In the year 2010, he received two awards, one was “Canada-India Friendship Medal” given by the “House of Commons,” and the other one being “Gauravanto Gujarati Award” given by Canada-India Foundation.

He has also tried his hand in Film Industry in the sector of Production by the movie “ Zed Plus Click to look into! >> Read More... ” released in the year 2014, but was not very successful. He is also a social activist and runs a program named “Kanya Kelvin Yojna” by raising funds and charity for it which works basically in Gujarat and works after the basic education of girls.
