Jayesh Parekh is an Indian producer and co-founder of Sony Entertainment Television, a mainstream Indian television channel that streams reality shows and daily soaps. He successfully exited this channel in 2013. Jayesh pursued his under-graduation degree from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and post-graduation in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a senior Advisor at Jungle Ventures, one of Southeast Asia’s largest venture capital firms based in Singapore. He was also a managing partner for Jungle Venture Fund I and II. Jayesh is a member of the board of Sanctum Wealth Management, One Animation, and Milaap.
He was on the board of the Investment Committee of Aavishkaar India II Fund, Aavishkaar Africa Fund, and Aavishkaar Frontier Fund, which are social impact venture funds. Jayesh also has experience working at IBM for over 12 years. Jayesh is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD, on the Board & Charter Member of TiE Singapore, and also a member of AngelList & Indian Angel Network. He has co-produced the film Jhalki which was released in 2019.
