Dakxin Chhara

Dakxin Chhara is an Indian producer who has produced most of the Hindi films. He was born and brought up in Ahmedabad, while his roots lie in Maharashtra. Apart from being a producer, he is also a filmmaker, producer, and social activist. The producer is renowned for making the first feature film. His caste was declared as ‘criminal tribes,’ but his father moved to Ahmedabad to work, where he was born. He completed his education from English Medium School, and he completed graduation in psychology and post-graduation in Theatre and Global Development from the University of Leeds under a Ford Foundation fellowship.
