Deepshika Sharma is an IAS hailing from Kaithal, Haryana. She cracked the exam in the first attempt in the year 2014. Her parents are lecturers in a government school. Deepshika pursued her primary and high schooling from Little Flower School, Kaithal and completed her undergraduate degree of B.Tech from Kurukshetra University. After this, she took coaching for IAS from Delhi and cracked the exam in the first attempt and securing the 33rd position at national level.
After passing the exam, she was immensely happy, and her parents were proud of her as she brought honor not only to her parents but her city as well. In an interview, she gave advises to IAS aspirants on how to crack the exam and further went on to tell that how her parents’ moral support helped her in achieving this success. She told the media that her she will work for the empowerment of women. She now works in the cadre of Gujarat, as appointed by the government.
