Born on 13 June 1920 Master Muhammad Ibrahim was a Sindhi Classical Singer. His birthplace was the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. At the age of 21, he migrated to Karachi, Pakistan. He started working in Radio Pakistan Karachi in 1948 and then moved to Radio Pakistan Hyderabad in 1955 to work as a music composer. In 1947, Ibrahim and two other singers revolutionized Sindhi music. He also worked as a playback singer, poet and music teacher. After 30 years of his death, he was awarded the Shah Latif Award. In 2016, a tribute was held for him at the Arts Council of Pakistan. His son is Noor Muhammad Bala. Master Muhammad Ibrahim died on 3rd May 1947.
