Sharvani Pillai

Sharvani Pillai is a Marathi actress born in Mumbai. She has acted in both Marathi movies as well as TV Serials as well as in a few Bollywood movies. Sharvani has also acted in Marathi stage plays. She is married to Unnikrishnan Pillai. She has essayed various roles in television soaps during the earlier phase of her career which revolved around the typical simple, girl next door looks, something that she could carry off with ease and perfection.

Damini, Avantika, Ambat Goad and Tuza Ni Maza Ghar Shrimantacha are some serials in which she has acted which gave her a lot of fame and made her a household name in Marathi television.

She is fondly remembered for her portrayal of the role of Sainika in Awantika, in which she portrayed the second lead. Apart from this, she has also acted in a Hindi daily soap, Duniya. She has acted in a few Marathi as well as Hindi Films. She gained recognition and popularity because of her first film Tu Tithe Mee in which she played a significant role of the protagonist’s daughter in law. She has also been a part of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, a Hindi film starring Ajay Devgn and Paresh Rawal. In her theatre career, she has to her credit some famous plays in which she has played the lead like Makadachya Haati Champagne and Alibaba Ani Chalishitale Chor.
