Sardar Akhtar was an Indian Cinema actress who worked in Hindi and Urdu films. She started her acting career by working as an artist on the Urdu stage. In her early films with Saroj Moviestone, she did a lot of action roles. She became popular with her role as the washer-woman in Sohrab Modi’s Pukar. A popular song she sang in the film was Kaheko Mohe Chhede.
