She grabbed many eyeballs after dancing on the song Hai Ishq Krishna Ki Leela with Sanjay Dutt in Policegiri (2013). The actress took a break from films and made a huge comeback by essaying the role Palak in the 2017 romantic comedy-drama Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana.

Being a versatile artist, Kavitta has not just impressed the audience with her acting skill, but also she is a trained dancer in Kathak and belly dancing. Besides acting and dancing, she has undergone intensive training in martial arts like Kalari and Thang ta.
