Kartika Rane is a popular Indian celebrity who is seen is many advertisement films and serials. She was born in the year 1977. Kartika Rane belonged to the union territory Goa and her full name is Kartika Devi Rane. She is a graduate in Sociology, who completed her graduation in Sophia College, Mumbai. Kartika Rane is well versed in Hindi, Marathi and English. Kartika has a political background. Her uncle is an ex chief minister of Goa, called Pratap Singh Rane. Former minister Madhav Rao Scindia is also her cousin. After completing her graduation, Kartika jumped into the modeling field, with lots of expectations and dreams. She stepped each and every stage of her life carefully and succeeded in it. She came to the television industry in the early 90s. The countdown show in Doordarshan, Ek Se Badkar Ek made her very popular among the TV audience. Kartika and the contemporary actress became popular through the DD programs, during the same period.
