Alka Nupur is the well-known actress of Hindi movies. She was the star of Hindi cinema in 80’s. Born in Aligarh, her services to the Indian cinema cannot be ignored. The graceful lady was certainly a mesmerizer in her youth. Her first dialect movie ‘Brijbhoomi’ 1982 was a super hit. In the movie Alka portrayed a village women and displayed the Braj culture and life. Not only the movie got appreciation but also her acting skills were greatly encouraged. In 1984 she did a horror movie ‘Purana Mandir’. The film was not a huge success but her voluptuous beauty mesmerized everyone. It was her unnerving charisma that in the same year another movie was released with South Indian super star Rajnikanth ‘Jhon Jany Janardhan’. The film was a super success and completed 100 days of houseful cinema. The series of hits then started off her movies never failed to capture its audience and entertain them. Zakhmi Sher (1984), Pataal Bhairavi (1985), Muhabat Ke Dushman (1988), Pathar (1985) all were well credited. She was one of those rare, lucky people that her acting career was about 7 years and in that short time she appeared in more than 7 movies.
